March 2011-March 2013
As the Senior Data Warehouse Architect, I was primarily repsonsible for the maintenance of the Business Objects XI 3.1 system, and for ensuring that all SAP products were used fully. I also helped negotiate SAP contracts.
During this time, one of my major achievements was the design and creation of an open framework for a Healthcare Performance Monitoring Framework. I designed this to be as open as possible, so that it was easy to add in new KPIs without requiring that the dashboard (written in xcelsius 2008) needed to be rewritten every time a small change was made to a KPI. This dashboard was rewarded with a Government of Canada Technology award.
As the most experienced Business Objects developer, I was given the chance to invetigate new ideas, develop trials and pilots, following through on many of these to completion, for example, the use of the XI 3.1 system to email out mobile phone summary statements to over 1000 mobile phone users.
I represented Interior Health Authority on the BC Provincial Healthcare Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Working group.
