Senior Decision Support Advisor
Joining Vancouver Coastal Health from Interior Health, I was able to apply the considerable healthcare knowledge that I had obtained over the previous decade to my new role. I was one of the more senior advisors there, looking after various areas of the Acute side, and also finance. I had day-to-day responsibility for the “ED Wait Times” website (www.edwaittimes.ca) that takes real-time data from the emergency rooms, and shows how busy they, so ambulances can be routed to less busy sites, and members of the public know how long they may have to wait to be seen
